  • I love myself as I am today and will be tomorrow

    “I have been on a number of WW programs over decades. Most recently between August 2022 and May 2023 I lost 7 lbs. I knew I was self sabotaging, but couldn't identify how.

    Since starting Life Coaching with Arla’s Stop Overeating Program I have learned a great deal about myself and how to develop and sustain my personal protocol.

    Coach Arla guided me to a new self awareness. (identifying true hunger as one example). By modifying a few behaviors including intermittent fasting and a few more, I have lost another 18 lbs. in my 6 months on the Program.

    The protocol I have developed with her guidance is not overly burdensome and is sustainable. I allow myself sweet treats once or twice a week; still within my points budget on WW.

    There are 2 outcomes I'm especially proud of: As a type A, I don't have to be 1st or perfect on this journey. I love myself as I am today and will be tomorrow.

    This program is targeted for women over 50, which I believe is the right demographic. On average women in their 50's have usually reached a point where they can set goals and modify behaviors. Key here is that she has to be willing to put in the effort to change behaviors around food. That requires self reflection and determination.

    The small group weekly meetings , where sharing our personal journeys and life experiences creates a community and a support network which I have not been able to experience anywhere else.

  • ...I have some tools to help me

    I was very excited to start with Arla back in January 2023. I was going through very challenging times at work, and was looking for some new perspective in dealing with that, and also to help protect a better/healthier work and life experience.

    When I started with Arla, I was unsure of how to begin my journey. She helped me structure a schedule and priorities to aid in addressing job related unhappiness and stress. It has certainly helped me prepare and process several of the issues affecting me at work, including how to think through meetings more clearly, how to start and manage my day.

    I feel like now, while I still face the same issues, at least I have some tools to help me move past some of the problematic issues/persons affecting me at work (and bleeding into my life).
